A method of determining a building’s energy performance of both new construction and existing buildings through energy surveys and audits. Halcom Consulting’s objective is to identify and develop modifications that will reduce the energy use and/or cost of operating a building. The analysis includes collection of historical energy data, studying operational characteristics, performing engineering and economic analysis, and identifying potential modifications. The goal is to reduce the energy use and cost of building operations. Energy consumption can be compared with other similar buildings both regionally and nationally. This data combined with a building on-site survey, will identify and provide a savings and cost analysis of low-cost and no-cost measures for potential capital improvements.
